Rentam-gh (operated by Shai-digi Studio) is committed to creating a safe and trusted rental marketplace for users across Ghana. To protect Listers, Renters, and the integrity of the platform, Rentam-gh requires users to verify their identity before accessing certain features.
This Identity Verification Policy explains how Rentam-gh collects, verifies, uses, stores, and protects identity information, in accordance with the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). It should be read alongside our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, which cover how we handle personal data more broadly.

Users who want to list items as Listers must complete identity verification before creating listings.

Rentam-gh servers are hosted within the European Union. Where your identity information is transferred or stored outside Ghana, we take steps to ensure this complies with the cross-border transfer requirements of the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

Rentam-gh may refuse verification where:
Users may be requested to provide additional information or correct submitted details.
Rentam-gh may disclose identity information where required by law, court order, regulatory authority, or lawful government request.
Rentam-gh may update this Identity Verification Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Continued use of Rentam-gh after updates means acceptance of the revised policy.
